Elementary & Middle School Films

In order to help neurotypical peers understand autism better, Good Friend, Inc. has created two documentary-style films to use as an educational resource. 

Good Friend, Inc. uses these films as the cornerstone for its autism awareness, acceptance, and empathy building programs with school-aged individuals.

We ALL Fit, an original, award-winning peer education film, was released by Good Friend, Inc., in 2014. Acclaimed documentary short filmmaker and Good Friend, Inc. co-founder Denise Schamens gathered an authentic volunteer cast that includes #ActuallyAutistic actors to portray characteristics of autism in this educational film.

This film is ideal for use with kindergarten through fifth grade aged individuals.

Choosing To Be A Good Friend is a reboot of the original middle school film, Choosing To Be A GFF, that takes a deeper dive into learning about autism, hearing from those with ASD, and from friends/siblings.

This film is ideal for use with sixth through eigth grade aged individuals.
